What is a Lan Party?
A Lan Party is where you hook up 2-4 xboxes. The number of xboxes you want to hook up is the number of tvs you're going to have to have. All you need for a 2 xbox lan party is a CROSSOVER ethernet cable. Just hook the xboxes up and you've got yourself a party. You do need pizza chips and drinks, too. Something fun to try is a tournament, where there are three teams of four and you switch off every game, ctf and team deathmatch. If you want to hook up 3-4 xboxes you'll need a Etherfast 10/100 Auto-sensing 5-port workgroup hub. Just plug her in and hook in 3-4 ethernet crossover cables and waalaa. What you need to do to host a good Lan Party-
- Make sure the party is at least 3 hours, it goes by fast.
- Make sure the teams are even, or else it's no fun for the bad people.
- Make sure you have enough chips, drinks, and pizza.
- If someone tries to ruin the party by tking, just don't invite them next time.
- That's all I can think of from my 2 xbox lan parties that i've had, hopefully more to come!
- If you want a long game, play single flag ctf switching off offending and defending every 3 mins on either Blood Gulch or Sidewinder
- Play team slayer to 50 kills
- Hang 'Em High is the best map for team slayer

Any time that I can I'll be trying to host Halo Lan parties, and on veterans day(two days after Halo 2 comes out), I'll be having an all day lan party WOOT WOOT MAKE SURE U CAN COME. There'll be 2-3 xboxes/tvs. |
