M6D PISTOL
This pistol is a recoil-operated, magazine-fed handgun. It is issued with a smart-linked scope capable of 2X magnification. It fires 12.7x40mm semi-armor-piercing, high explosive rounds. It can shoot either semi-automatic or automatic fire. This powerful weapon can utilize multiple types of ammo including armor-penetration rounds, and explosive-tipped rounds. There are several variants of the M6D including the M6S, which uses an extended barrel and 10.5x30mm AP rounds.

M6C PISTOL
Bigger than the standard UNSC HE pistol series. Larger and longer and have grips of self molding plastasteel. The handgun shoots high-caliber rounds and is self balanced. Far better than the standard issue sidearm. it is recoil operated and magazine fed. The differences are it only has semi-automatic fire and doesn't have a scope, though its rounds are almost as powerful as that of the M6D.

MA5B ASSAULT RIFLE
This rifle is gas-operated and magazine-fed. It fires 7.62mm armor-piercing rounds. Rate of fire is limited by a soldier's ability to aim, fire and change magazines. Short, controlled bursts are more accurate than fully automatic fire. The MA5B's integrated computer displays rounds left in the magazine and the relative direction of a location, such as the gas giant, Threshold, for point of reference. This feature is particularly useful for orienting soldiers in areas where it's easy to get turned around and lose their sense of direction.
This weapon can utilize varying types of ammunition, including "shredder" rounds (for lightly-armored infantry), and armor-piercing HE rounds (for moderately, and heavily armored infantry). This weapons also includes a built-in flashlight for low-light situations. Slightly modified versions of the MA5B's barrel can be made to support a silencer for covert missions where both power, and discretion is required.

BR55 BATTLE RIFLE
The battle rifle is a modified assault rifle with an extended barrel and has it's ammo computer replaced by a small 2X smart-linked scope. It fires KAT 9.5x40mm ammunition and is extremely accurate at all ranges. It fires in three-round bursts by holding the trigger down, and can fire single shots by lightly pressing the trigger and releasing, and also while in zoom mode.

M7 CASELESS SUB MACHINE GUN SMG
The SMG fires Cal 5x23mm MF/case less ammunition. It's fire rate is very high, but accuracy is decreased significantly at long range. It is issued with an extendable stock so a Marine can wield two at once if necessary. An optional feature is an extendable silencer for the barrel, though accuracy is even further decreased when in use.
Note: When using two SMGs at once, recoil is more difficult to compensate, and it is easy to let your aim drift too high. Be careful that your aim doesn't drift into the path of a friendly. |

M19 SSM ROCKET LAUNCHER
Commonly called the "Jackhammer, or "Spanker" (due to the SPNKr rockets it fires) by the Marines, the M19 SSM (Surface-to-Surface Missle) is a man-portable and shoulder-fired rocket launcher. It has two major components, the launcher and the magazine. The magazine (the expendable part of the system) contains two 102mm shaped-charge, high-explosive rockets. It is designed for fast, easy detachment from the launcher. The launcher contains the sighting and fire control systems. The launcher is issued with a small 2X smart-linked scope for sighting medium-range targets.

M9 HE-DP GRENADE
The M9 high-explosive, dual-purpose grenade is a thrown fragmentation device. Use it to suppress or disable vehicles, except tanks. It can be thrown, rolled, bounced or ricocheted into places direct fire weapons can't reach. Increase the angle of the throw to toss it farther, or to get it over obstacles. Be careful not to throw it too close to your own location. |

M90 SHOTGUN
The shotgun is a pump-action magazine-fed (dual tubular non-detachable type) weapon. It fires 8 gauge magnum (3.5") rounds. This weapon is very effective against targets at close range and may be used to engage several targets simultaneously at medium and long range.
This weapons also includes a built-in flashlight in the pump grip for low-light situations.

SRS99C S2 AM SNIPER RIFLE
This rifle is a gas-operated magazine-fed weapon. It is issued with a smart-linked scope with two levels of magnification. It fires 14.5mm armor-piercing fin-stabilized discarding-sabot rounds.
The S2 AM Sniper Rifle scope comes with a night vision feature which increases visual acuity in low-light, and even no-light situations for precision shooting.
Zoom Oracle - These smart-linked scopes are issued on the S2 AM Sniper Rifle. They are capable of 2X, 8X, and 10X zooming for precision shooting. Smaller, 2X versions of these scopes are available for the M6D HE Pistol, Battle Rifle, and M19 SSM Rocket launcher.

M7057 DEFOLIANT PROJECTOR
The M7057 Defoliant Projector is a standard chemical flamethrower which projects and ignites a stream of volatile, semi-liquid adhesive. Flamethrowers are cumbersome, difficult to aim, and effective only at short range. However, they are excellent suppression weapons, and against unshielded enemies or structure they are devastating.

COVENANT WEAPONS-

PARTICLE BEAM RIFLE
An enormous weapon that packs a devastating punch. The Beam Rifle serves as a sniper like weapon. It uses plasma energy like most weapons which gives it a huge advantage over the human sniper as it doesn't have to reload. It does overheat if overly used though, therefore a skilled user will allow some time in between each shot to allow maximum devastation.

BRUTE SHOT
Unlike most weapons this guns ammunition is fed by ammo magazines which are inserted in the side. It is a cross between a shot gun and a grenade launcher. It is deadly accurate and powerful beyond human belief. Also causes some splash damage. At the back of the weapon is a long blade, the weapon can therefore easily be swapped around and used as a deadly melee weapon should the need arise.
This gun is often favored by Brutes.

CARBINE
A new weapon derived from the Covenants latest technological achievements in weapons and warfare. It has a zoom mode for medium-to-long-range engagements. However, because the weapon's fire rate is higher than would be expected for a weapon of its size and class, it is also very effective in close quarters. Making it an excellent all round weapon which can be adapted to almost any combat situation.
The Carbine has become the fast favorite of Elites.

ENERGY GARROTE
The Elites special stealth weapon. It is a small, two-piece cylinder that splits apart in the middle. A green energy arc appears between the two cylinders and is used to choke and burn an enemy quietly from behind.

ENERGY SWORD
The energy sword is a very dangerous weapon used by senior ranked Elites. The sword's plasma energy is held into its blade form with small magnetic field generators built into the handle mechanism. This is a smaller version of the Covenant's Capital Ship plasma weapon technology which uses massive generators to stabilize, contain, and guide the plasma without interfering with the plasma's effects. If the wielder drops the weapon the small field generators dislodge, activating a failsafe. The magnetic field deactivates, without first dispensing the plasma consuming the handle and thus the weapon is destroyed.
The plasma contained within the Energy Sword allows the wielder to cut through almost anything. It can slice through energy shields, armor and flesh with ease making one hit kills simple in close quarters. A single Elite armed with an Energy Sword can decimate entire squads of marines.

FUEL ROD GUN
The Fuel Rod Gun is an indirect fire weapon: it's explosive projectiles follow an parabolic trajectory. The impact of a Fuel Rod is powerful and effective against vehicles and infantry alike. Be careful however, as rapid fire overheats the weapon. The effects of prolonged exposure to fuel rod energy are unknown.
The Fuel Rod Gun is the main weapon of the Covenant Hunters, though they use a slightly different version where the weapon is directly integrated into the Hunter's armor. Elites and Special Op Grunts have also been known to carry these weapons.
While it may look like a Rocket Launcher, it is more like a mortar, especially at longer ranges. The explosive projectiles follow an arc-like trajectory, which makes this weapon ideal for long range bombardment.
These weapons' batteries are powered by fuel rods which, once unstable or depleted, activate a failsafe and explode preventing the enemy using them.

NEEDLER
This weapon is magazine fed, capable of automatic fire and target tracking. Its projectiles penetrate soft targets no matter what the angle of impact. They ricochet off of hard surfaces at oblique angles, however, and are always deflected by energy fields, the only exceptions to this being the shields generated by the MJOLNIR battle suit. The composition and energy signature of its projectile is unknown. The manner in which the projectiles home in on their target is due to the heat sensitive tips within the head of the Needles.

PLASMA GRENADE
This weapon is similar to the human hand grenade in that it is a thrown anti-infantry and anti-vehicle weapon. It sticks to targets by coating itself in a thin layer of plasma which, when in contact with a target, fuses to the target and is impossible to release. It has a internal mechanism that allows it to distinguish between targets and background. For example, it will stick to a soldier or vehicle, but not a tree or wall. It has a three-second fuse that is activated after it sticks to a target or otherwise comes to a rest.
It should be noted that prolonged exposure to the radiation emitted by plasma grenades to humans can cause a deviation in the neural electric pathways of the user--a disorder called Boren's Syndrome. No cases have been found within the Covenant populous, however.

PLASMA PISTOL
This weapon is a semi-automatic directed energy weapon. The weapon has a secondary fire mode which consists of an overcharged bolt which dumps a large quantity of the weapons energy into a single shot. After the over-charged bolt is launched the weapon temporarily stops functioning as it dumps waste heat. Use of the over-charge capability rapidly depletes the weapon's power core. Its concentrated plasma can disable the energy shields used by Spartans, leaving the enemy exposed for your secondary weapon or continued bursts from the Plasma Pistol.
This weapon uses a smaller version of the plasma technology used in the Covenant's main capital ships. By using a small magnetic field generator, the overcharged plasma bolt tracks and moves toward the nearest moving target in its fire arc.

PLASMA RIFLE (ELITE)
This is a directed energy weapon. It is capable of either semi-automatic or automatic fire. Continuous rapid fire overheats the weapon - this in turn depletes the weapon's power core. This weapon has a heat gauge on the side, pay close attention to it to lower chances of overheating.
The Plasma Rifle is a more-powerful version of the Plasma Pistol, but lacks the overcharge ability. The Plasma Rifles higher fire rate makes it a better choice against more mobile enemies.
This weapon uses a smaller version of the plasma technology used in the Covenant's main capital ships. By using a small magnetic field generator, the plasma is forced forward after discharge in small bolts.

SHADE
Although the Shade appears to be a light anti-vehicle weapon, the Covenant uses it almost exclusively in an anti-infantry role. The operator sits directly behind the gun and an armored control suite, but relies entirely on infantry support for protection to the sides and rear.
The Shade uses antigravity technology to lift the main bulk of the gun away from its stand. This provides slight protection from close attackers and allows the user to move around 360° effortlessly. The Shade has exceptional strength in its Plasma output, equaling that of the Plasma Cannons used on vehicles.
Later in the war energy shields were added to the Shade to increase its defensive capabilities.
